These images are vulnerable to USN-612-1, a very serious flaw in the cryptographic library used to generate encryption keys. It is essential that you apply all security updates after installation before making any use of your system.
Edubuntu is distributed on three types of images described below.
The desktop CD allows you to try Edubuntu without changing your computer at all, and at your option to install it permanently later. You will need at least 320MB of RAM to install from this CD. You can install additional educational programs using the classroom server add-on CD.
